Flock
This free social web browser streams updates into a sidebar as they occur from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogger, Flickr, RSS feeds, and more. You can also share photos, videos, and articles. Available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

friendfeed
A web service that allows you to aggregate all of your social media websites, social networks, blogs, social bookmarking, micro-blogging services, and RSS feeds in one place. Lets you subscribe to your friends’ feeds and comment on people’s feed items.

Gwibber
Gwibber is an open source microblogging client for Linux. It brings popular social networking services to your desktop and gives you the ability to control how you communicate. Supports Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, Digg, Flickr, and more, but doesn’t currently support LinkedIn.

Hootsuite
This website and online reputation management service allows you to simultaneously publish to sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, and more. The free plan is advertising supported; the paid plan costs $5.99/month.

NetVibes
This site lets you assemble all favorite widgets, feeds, social networks, email, videos, and blogs on one fully-customizable page. Versions of the site are available for the iPad and iPhone and Android smartphones, as well as regular mobile phones.

Ping.fm
This free site allows you to submit a status update and have it appear on over 30 social networking sites, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, and Blogger almost immediately.

Seesmic
This desktop, browser, and mobile application allows you to aggregate content from your social networking sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Sendible
This application pulls in posts and comments from sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr so that you can respond from one place. Allows you to post to popular blogging sites such as WordPress, Blogger, Posterous and Tumblr, and provides an interface to read RSS feeds. Also includes reports so you can monitor and analyze your social media and email campaigns. Company gives you a 30-day free trial, then charges $9.99/month and up.

Socialite
This Mac OS X application allows you to stay in touch with social networks and services like Facebook, Twitter, Google Reader, Flickr, Digg and others.

Tubemogul
This free service lets you upload videos to the top video and social networking sites from a single interface. You can also distribute videos to custom sites and encode and create RSS feeds to syndicate your video anywhere. Site includes analytic tools to show you who, what, and where videos are being viewed.

Tweetdeck
This application for Twitter users takes Twitter feeds and breaks them down into more manageable bite-sized pieces.

WiseStamp
These email applications enable you to bring functionality to every email you send.
